Vandit Jain

The story of Vandit , who characterizes genetic conditions of Down’s Syndrome is inspiring and encouraging. He spent fruitful ten years at “Drishti School” as a student of Inclusive-Wing. Despite limitations he has learnt to turn his fears to joy, frustrations to fulfillment and hobby to passion. He is joyfully practicing and exploring clay to give meaningful expressions to his inner feelings after having experimented with stationary shop, photography, computer typing etc. With pottery, he has found a purpose in life.

Preeti Jain

Mothers are nature’s gift to mankind. So is Preeti to Vandit, A Pusher , A Strategist, A learner and A Supporter. Her journey began with his birth on 10 July 1999. She took training in Special Education to help her child learn progressively and through home schooling. Meeting paediatrician, taking guidance on physiotherapy in Delhi & Hydrabad, exploring internet, meeting experts and finally taking formal training in pottery helped in awakening his pride and interest in slab pottery.
